Hudl International Headquarters Office Building

The Hudl International Headquarters is a striking seven-story mixed-use development that injects vibrant retail and modern office space into Lincoln's rapidly evolving Canopy Street. As a major addition to the revitalization of the West Haymarket, the project enhances the district’s energy and contributes to its growing reputation as a center for innovation and commerce.

Spanning 170,000 square feet, the building is one of the largest office developments constructed in downtown Lincoln in recent years. Hudl, a globally recognized leader in sports software, serves as the building’s primary tenant, occupying four of the seven floors. This expansive space enables Hudl to foster a collaborative, cutting-edge work environment. Nelnet, another prominent Nebraska-based company, occupies the second floor.

The architectural design of Hudl's headquarters was carefully crafted to reflect the company’s forward-thinking culture. The partially enclosed seventh floor offers a variety of amenities for employees, including a modern cafeteria, game room, rooftop patio, and green space. These features create a relaxed, creative environment that promotes both productivity and well-being.

In addition to its functionality, the building has become a visual landmark, blending seamlessly into the urban landscape while contributing to the ongoing development of the West Haymarket. As a symbol of innovation and growth, the Hudl International Headquarters is poised to play a significant role in the future of downtown Lincoln, solidifying the area as a cornerstone for business and community engagement.

I enjoyed working with SHA on the Canopy Street Project.  It was a very complex project which required both large scale design thought as well as a focus on small details. Their professionalism impressed me as well as all of the other clients in the project from restaurants, to hotel operations through condo buyers, SHA continued to move the project forward and solve problems with all in mind.  As a licensed architect myself I really appreciated their willingness to partner with me and listen to my design ideas while improving the direction time and time again. Quite simply, Canopy Street would not have been nearly as successful without SHA’s talented staff.
