1890 Initiative Suite in Lied Place

Sinclair Hille Architects was honored to be selected for the interior design of the new office suite for the 1890 Initiative, a groundbreaking NIL program aimed at enriching the student-athlete experience. This initiative collaborates closely with local charitable organizations, fostering a sense of community engagement throughout the state of Nebraska. The team at The 1890 Initiative is committed to empowering student-athletes involved in various Husker sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, and baseball, helping them maximize their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities while creating a positive impact in their communities.

The newly designed suite, located on the third floor of the Lied Place residential tower, occupies approximately 4,900 square feet and radiates vibrancy and energy. The design includes multiple game-day-ready spaces specifically curated for athletes and their families. Among these amenities is a dedicated area for tailgate parties, providing an inspiring atmosphere to celebrate game days and foster team spirit. Every detail of the interior design reflects the initiative’s mission, combining functionality with a high-energy and high-performing aesthetic. Sinclair Hille Architects created an environment that motivates, enhances the athletic experience, and strengthens the bond between student-athletes and the Nebraska community.
