The Cultural Centers of Lincoln

Sinclair Hille Architects is honored to have been selected to design Lincoln’s newest community center - The Cultural Centers of Lincoln project.  Envisioned as a place to connect diverse members of the community through social services, public resources, and cross-cultural relationships, the Cultural Centers of Lincoln will exist to support the individual centers in Lincoln, while collaboratively building upon their strengths to produce community outcomes centered on diversity, social justice, and cultural competency.

The new state-of-the-art facility will be organized around an outdoor central court and create a shared public space for the exhibition and celebration of all cultural heritages represented in the community. The courtyard will serve as the heart of the building, inviting people to gather and interact with each other.  Over time, the new center aspires to become more than just a building but also an exemplary model of collaboration and a symbol of hope and unity.

The design team from Sinclair Hille were sensitive to the unique needs of our business model and incorporated our requests within the overall design of our branch facility, a facility that was built not only for the needs of the bank branch today, but, also, with flexibility for what future demands might be.  We are extremely happy with the end product and appreciate the professionalism and attention to detail of the team from Sinclair Hille Architects.
