Townhouse Village

As part of a housing master plan created by Sinclair Hille Architects, Nebraska Wesleyan University embarked on a significant campaign to upgrade student resident facilities.  A total of 360 beds were developed in two new residence halls and a townhouse village. The Townhouse Village is an informal cluster of five smaller buildings with quiet garden areas between. Each townhome building has space for 24 students in full apartments with private bedrooms and shared living space. The village is located at the edge of campus to accommodate upper class students’ desires for quiet and seclusion, while still being fully connected to campus life and activity.

The Concordia University Team has always worked through the design process with Sinclair Hille’s leadership and come away feeling like our project priorities were understood. Setting overall project goals in the initial design meeting with Sinclair Hille has proven to be a key to our success.
