Sinclair Hille Architects is proud to announce the promotions of Kjersten to Principal and Michael Harpster to Associate Principal, recognizing their outstanding contributions, leadership, and dedication to our firm’s continued growth.

Kjersten Promoted to Principal

Since joining Sinclair Hille, Kjersten has demonstrated exceptional creativity, project management expertise, and leadership. Her portfolio includes performing arts centers, educational buildings, churches, and libraries, and she has played a pivotal role in expanding Sinclair Hille’s Interior Design services, which have flourished under her guidance.

Reflecting on her journey, Kjersten shares:
"When I moved back to Lincoln in 2016, I knew that Sinclair Hille was where I wanted to be and that, one day, I would like to be a leader here. It’s thrilling to become a principal and further the work of the firm on meaningful projects with exceptional colleagues."

Her promotion is a testament to her impact on the firm and her passion for creating thoughtful, innovative spaces that serve our clients and communities.

Michael Harpster Promoted to Associate Principal

With 12 years of diverse design experience, Michael has led projects of all scales, from affordable housing and higher education facilities to award-winning designs recognized at both the state and regional levels. As Associate Principal and Creative Director, he will help shape the firm’s design vision, fostering collaboration and driving impactful, innovative solutions.

Michael shares his excitement for this new chapter:
"I am deeply honored to step into this role. I look forward to working with our exceptional team to continue creating spaces that are not only innovative but also meaningful for the people and communities we serve."

Beyond his work at Sinclair Hille, Michael is actively involved in the design community, serving on Lincoln’s Urban Design Committee and as a guest reviewer for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Architecture.

Please join us in congratulating Kjersten and Michael on their well-earned promotions. We are excited for their continued leadership and the impact they will have in shaping the future of our firm!
