Job Title: Senior Project Designer

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Designer creates project designs and plans for all phases of projects and coordinates with building design consultants while monitoring drawings.  The Senior Project Designer is a creative, thought leader who will create new and innovative designs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develops create design solutions for a multitude of projects.
• Develops solutions and plans for the client.
• Initiates and creates project designs and plans of all phases of one or more projects and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings.      
• Coordinates all trades and agencies related to building design while monitoring drawings.
• Has experience in all phases of architecture and engineering, including substantial and varied experience in project planning.
• Lead communication and meetings with clients in project meetings and clearly communicate ideas, concepts and details to others.
• Mentors and guides the work of project designers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create original and innovative ideas and solutions.

Education and Experience:

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• Architecture license is preferred.
• 10+ years of architectural experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods working at a sitting or standing desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Occasional travel to job sites and client meetings is required.
